Dem columnist says level of hypocrisy in Kanye's Oval Office visit is 'mind-blowing'

Democratic columnist Jonathan Harris on Friday slammed what he called the hypocrisy in President Trump's Oval Office meeting with musician Kanye West. "I do know that conservatives hated [West] when he said that [former President] George Bush doesn't care about black people, and also thought that it was outrageous that Obama brought Jay-Z into the White House," Harris told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton on "Rising." "Just the level of hypocrisy is mind-blowing," he added. West and Trump took part in a highly unusual Oval Office meeting on Thursday, praising each other before the press while discussing topics ranging from manufacturing to the 13th Amendment. "Trump is on his hero’s journey right now. He might not have thought he’d have a crazy motherf----r like Kanye running up support," West said sitting across from Trump at the Resolute Desk. The musician also got out of his chair near the end of his remarks and gave Trump a side-hug. "I love this guy," West said. C
